Eco Magazine brings together photographers and visual artists who use the image as a social and political means of exploration. It's built on a collective approach and aims to collaborate on creating a new narration of the art world: more sustainable, equal, and accessible.
This project starts as a BA thesis in Graphic Design and consists in creating issue zero, a starting point that defines the magazine's intentions, plus a theoretical compendium that reflects on this means of communication.
The magazine contains a curated collection of images, constellated by words and conversations created from the contribution of twenty international protagonists of the art field.
This magazine further aims to actualize in the cultural institution and in the social imagination the importance of interaction, contamination, and dialogue contained within the image. It wants to create a conscious visual imagery that spreads according to unconventional methods.
means for authorial, artistic, tod experimental media ch. i wants to bible in alternative narrative in which the artwork becomes accessible and we an all be part of it with our experience.
The design choices were made by following an idea whereby the entire object must possess an internal coherence. I asked myself what made a magazine interesting beyond the content and how to translate the ideas and concepts into the editorial medium
