From Latin: “everything that the night does not change”. An ancient, simple, and well-known game, passed down more through word than objects.
However I decides to try to be symbolic and try to realize a physixal version, because I wanted to answer to this question: “is it possibile to expand this ancient game, undisturbed for many years, without changing the core gameplay mechanics?”
I tried, so: Lupus in red and Lupus in black. They have same cards but are different in the rules, that was the challenge I wanted.
Furthermore, the choice of the paper is the determined by the ambient light. Lupus in black is played in the dark with only a little light, to let see a bit the toner black on black paper.
