"Paroles d'objets" is a modular and reusable scenographic kit designed for FauveParis, a young and dynamic Parisian auction house. This versatile kit transforms the window display into a narrative, aesthetic and functional space.
Auction houses, often subject to stereotypes, are evolving to become more accessible, challenging preconceptions. Taking an interest in reshaping their image and implementing communication allows for the revaluation of a practice aiming to be more democratic. Auction house items are high-quality objects, each carrying the unique history of its first possessor. Emphasizing quality over quantity encourages a more considerate approach to acquiring and appreciating belongings, contributing to a more ecologically sustainable pattern.
The kit comprises metal grids, colorful backgrounds, and mirror-effect paper. The formula allows for easy disassembly and reassembly of the display to present three new objects weekly. Creating an impactful impression from the outside, akin to a front page, the viewer can delve into the stories behind the displayed objects upon entering the auction house.
