SIMBIOSI (“SYMBIOSIS”) is an editorial project that
narrates the relationship between nature and architecture -analyzing it from a visual point of view - through researching photographs, illustrations, movies, books, and newspaper articles.
Browsing through the book is like taking a walk in the city looking around: seeing buildings under construction, billboards covering construction sites, walking through tree-lined parks, noticing grass growing by the side of the road, or tree roots under asphalt.
The book is divided into three sections:
IMG - This section contains a series of images sequenced according to a purely visual criterion of association.
TXT - The second section collects a series of texts that relate to the themes of the research.
NAV - The last section is a registry of the book's images, not in the order in which they are displayed in the editorial project, but divided into four groups: “Architecture towers over Nature,” “Nature grows on Architecture,” “Architecture emulates Nature,” and “Nature resembles Architecture.”
