Toni and Bepi are two brothers who live on a boat in the Venice lagoon. The two have an extremely anonymous and lonely life, they are very different from each other and have not spoken to each other for years without anyone knowing why. However, their desire for redemption drives them to embark on adventures beyond their capabilities, with unusual and unexpected consequences. This short story is told in a small volume for children through simple writing and colourful illustrations. The inspiration for the story comes from an anecdote captured in an old Venetian squero, a workshop dedicated to the construction and repair of gondolas.
