This policy describes the cookies and similar browser storage used on the Pittogramma website. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy.
What cookies and similar storage are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can save a preference or identifier on your device. Some are necessary to provide a feature requested by the user. Others, such as advertising or behavioural analytics tools, normally require consent before use.
Current website storage
Pittogramma does not currently use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. The public website uses only limited technical or preference storage.
Theme preference
- Name: theme
- Provider: Pittogramma, first party
- Storage: cookie and browser local storage
- Purpose: remember whether you selected the light, dark or system colour theme
- Category: technical or user-requested preference
- Duration: the cookie lasts up to one year; local storage remains until it is replaced or cleared by you or your browser
- Consent: not required because it stores only the interface preference you request
Editorial preview
Authorised Pittogramma editors may use technical preview cookies, including Next.js preview or draft-mode cookies, to view unpublished content. These cookies are used only for the staff preview function and are not placed during ordinary public browsing.
Project submission form
The Submit page loads an embedded form provided by Fillout after the page becomes interactive. Fillout may use cookies or browser storage needed to display the form, preserve form progress, prevent abuse and process a submission. This storage is associated with the submission service you choose to use. Fillout is responsible for any additional processing it performs under its own privacy information.
On the Submit page, Fillout provides its own cookie notice and choice for cookies used by the form. This control applies within the form and is separate from a sitewide Pittogramma banner.
Why there is no consent banner
Outside the embedded Fillout submission form, Pittogramma does not currently place analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. A sitewide consent banner is therefore not shown. Technical storage and storage strictly needed to provide a user-requested service do not require consent, but they must still be described.
Before Pittogramma introduces non-essential analytics, advertising, embedded media or other tracking, those tools should be blocked by default until a valid choice is made. The website and this policy will then be updated with an appropriate consent control.
External links
The website contains links to third-party sites, including social networks, event services and affiliate destinations. Simply displaying a normal link does not place that service's cookies through Pittogramma. If you follow the link, the destination site may use cookies under its own policy.
Managing storage
You can inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking technical storage may prevent the website from remembering your theme or may affect an embedded form. Browser controls vary, so consult your browser's help documentation.
