Project Submission Terms
Last updated: 27 August 2026
These terms apply when a person submits a project to Pittogramma for editorial review. By completing the required acceptance and payment steps, the submitting representative agrees to these terms.
Operator and contact
The submission service is provided by Fabio Mario Rizzotti, operating the independent Pittogramma cultural and editorial project. Pittogramma is currently a project name and informal collective, not a separate incorporated legal entity.

Eligibility and authority
The submitting representative must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- provide accurate and complete information;
- have authority to submit the project and accept these terms; and
- have obtained the permissions needed from every collaborator, photographer, teacher, institution, client or other rights holder whose name, personal data or material is included.
The submitting representative acts as Pittogramma's primary contact for the submission and warrants that the project can be reviewed and, if selected, published under these terms. This warranty does not remove any collaborator's individual data protection rights.
The review service
Pittogramma charges a project submission fee for editorial review. The current price is EUR 5 for each designer included in the submission, as shown before payment. The fee pays for the review process only. It does not buy advertising, guarantee acceptance, guarantee publication or require Pittogramma to publish the project by a particular date.
Pittogramma may assess relevance, quality, completeness, rights clearance and fit with its editorial direction. It may reject a submission, ask for changes or additional information, postpone a decision or decide not to publish. Editorial decisions are made by people.
Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. The submitting representative must provide valid payment information and authorises the displayed charge. Pittogramma does not receive full card details. Any taxes or legally required invoice information will be handled according to applicable law and the information collected at payment.
Cancellations, withdrawal and refunds
Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, the submission fee is non-refundable after payment, including where the project is rejected or not published.
A consumer who enters a distance service contract may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. By asking Pittogramma to begin the editorial review immediately, the consumer expressly requests performance during that period. If the review service is fully performed before the period ends, the consumer acknowledges that the statutory right of withdrawal may be lost once full performance is complete, where applicable law permits.
If a consumer validly withdraws before the review is fully performed, mandatory withdrawal rights and any lawful proportionate-payment rules apply. Nothing in these terms limits a refund, remedy or other right that cannot legally be excluded. To request withdrawal, email Pittogramma clearly identifying the submission and the request.
Submission standards
The submitting representative warrants that:
- the submission is original or all necessary rights and licences have been obtained;
- the submission does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, moral or other rights;
- images, video, text, typefaces, music and other material may lawfully be provided to Pittogramma for the purposes described here;
- personal data about other people has been collected and shared lawfully, with any required notice or permission;
- the submission is not unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, deceptive, malicious or technically harmful; and
- credits and factual statements are accurate to the submitting representative's knowledge.
Pittogramma may remove material or stop reviewing a submission if it reasonably believes these standards are not met. The submitting representative is responsible for resolving third-party claims caused by a breach of these warranties, subject to applicable law.
Permission to review and publish
The submitting representative grants Pittogramma a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy and display the submitted material privately for review and administration.
If Pittogramma selects the project, the licence also permits Pittogramma to reproduce, display, distribute and communicate the submitted material on the Pittogramma website, social channels, newsletters and reasonable editorial or promotional materials connected with Pittogramma. Pittogramma may resize, crop, compress, caption, translate excerpts and make other reasonable layout or accessibility adaptations without changing the substance of the work.
The submitting representative and other rights holders keep ownership of their work. The licence does not transfer copyright and does not give Pittogramma the right to sell the submitted work as a standalone product. No royalty or other compensation is due for the uses authorised by these terms unless Pittogramma agrees otherwise in writing.
The licence continues while the relevant material is published and for reasonable editorial, evidentiary and backup archives. A rights holder may request correction or prospective removal by contacting Pittogramma. Pittogramma will assess the request promptly, taking account of legal obligations, freedom of expression, public-interest archiving, technical backups and third-party reposts outside its control.
Credits and editorial changes
Pittogramma intends to provide reasonable credits using the information supplied. The submitting representative must identify the correct names and roles. Pittogramma may edit titles, descriptions, captions and other copy for length, clarity, style, translation, accuracy and accessibility, while aiming to preserve the meaning of the project. Material changes may be discussed with the submitting representative where practical.
Personal data
Personal data connected with a submission is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Fillout hosts the submission form and Stripe processes payment under their respective privacy information.
Availability and liability
Pittogramma does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website, form or third-party services. To the extent permitted by law, Pittogramma is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss caused by service interruptions, external platforms or information supplied by the submitting representative. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where applicable, or any other liability or consumer remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
Pittogramma may update these terms for future submissions. The version accepted when a submission is completed governs that submission unless a later change is required by law or agreed with the submitting representative.
Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. Mandatory consumer protections, including any rules of the consumer's country of residence that cannot be excluded by agreement, remain unaffected. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact Pittogramma so the issue can be considered and, where possible, resolved.
