Brick by Brick is a board game created in collaboration with EMERGENCY. The project brief was to select a theme that Emergency was involved in and tell that story through a game. The aim is to allow those who play to empathize with those affected by these situations. The topic we decided to address was that of the Anabah Maternity Center in Afghanistan. A crucial space aimed only at women who are not only treated and followed during maternity, but are also trained by doctors allowing them to become independent from their social condition.
The objective of the game is to be able to build the Anabah Maternity and Gynecology Center by overlapping the bricks. Getting to the top is not that simple: each different level is made up of a set of values or actors that can help or hinder the undertaking and you are bound in the couplings. You must decide your role before starting to play: doctor or obstacle. You can contribute to construction, slow it down or interrupt it. The winner is the one who has no more moves to make and has been completely blocked by his opponent.
