This project was born as a tribute to Cassolnovo and its residents, a small town in the Lomellina region, little known beyond its local area yet rich in stories, faces, and events that deserve to be remembered.
The starting point is our father’s private archive, the result of years of patience spent collecting photographs, documents, and testimonies that many families in the town might otherwise have forgotten or lost over time.
From this collection came the idea of creating a space accessible to everyone, where the collective memory of Cassolnovo could be preserved and shared.
More than just a simple archive, this website aims to be a shared map of memories— one that anyone can enrich with their own images and stories. It is a way to recognize ourselves in the faces, places, and transformations of time, and to keep alive the memory of a community that continues to exist thanks to those who live in it, remember it, and tell its story.
